CONCRETE HIEROGLYPHICS


'Concrete Hieroglyphics' is a response to societies' regression from the written word and increasing
reliance on visual imagery and video communication. The work references the cyclical nature of
civilizations and the difficulties of capturing meaning in all forms of communication.
The work was exhibited at 'They Is Us', a show dealing with a female response to the themes
generated by science fiction, including visions of the future and prophecies of the past.
